Regattas sailing
On the Ijsselmeer regattas will be held for traditional sailing ships held in spring, autumn and summer.
The 117-year-old sailing tjalk the Orion is at its best with lots of wind in the sails.
The Orion may join the next sailing events.
Pieper Race in Volendam. The water is still cold and the charter ships have just been returned from the winter repair program.
For the real die hard under us. Bring warm clothing. 4-5 April 2009. Boarding on Friday. Saturday and Sunday we will race and Saturday night party at the dike.
Jan Haring Race in Monnickendam. Warm water and a home race for Orion. On the Markermeer under the umbrella of the lighthouse of Marken, 80 Clippers,Tjalken and Botters participate, both sailing charters and pleasure vessels. Date 4 and 5 July, 2009. Boarding on Friday. Saturday and Sunday race. Saturday night big party in Monnickendam.
Bontekoe race in Hoorn. From 24-25 October 2009 at the Hoornse hop is already the 17th race. For Clippers, Tjalken and Botters. Boarding on Friday. Saturday and Sunday race. Saturday night you can sleep an hour longer because of the wintertime.
